Mitigation Banking

These preserves, also known as mitigation banks or conservation banks, are managed for optimal environmental benefit and are protected into perpetuity. Working closely with local, state, and federal agencies, Wildlands Engineering creates environmental credits from the restored habitats, then sells the credits to public and private developers to compensate for their environmental impacts.
